Although the school isn't set anywhere in particular, I've put the comics together under the assumption that it's located in a relatively warm environment. The worst they've had to deal with is rain.

Sounds like western WA to me. Mild climate, rarely gets above 85 or below 40....Snows rare and celebrated, endless rain, etc....
