Beastbeauty: Kathrina Nielsen, a native of Sweden, was a second-generation Next Leveller, but her abilities were dormant. She became a film student and later, director of independent art films, many of which were known for their erotic realism. Later kidnapped by the Zha'Tahn, she gained the ability to morph into two humanoid forms---a catlike one with long claws and night vision, and a hawklike one that somehow manages to fly, both regulated by a necklace/collar around her neck. (It's thought that the necklace also contains some sort of gravity control component, to help the birdlike form fly despite human-level weight.)

Very happily married once, to Arthur Griffin, but her husband left her after her return, perhaps unable to accept her changes. She has one daughter, Jewel. Back to the Cast Page
