Lafferty doesn't have the ability to divide into 2 different speices, say a half weight version of himself and a swarm of insects, then have only one group of himself change form again (the bugs) does he? I don't think all that would work, and maybe Vigilant would notice a half mass Flickerflame (curiously transparent bones when he used x-ray vision?). Anyway, interested to find out what it was!
