Al Schroeder III used to be a letterhack back in the days when comics had letter columns...in fact, he met his wife on Julie Schwartz' Superman lettercolumn. They've now been married over twenty-five years, with three kids.

His first Marvel comic was Fantastic Four #6--with both Doctor Doom and Sub-Mariner---and he became a huge fan of MArvel during the sixties.

Nevertheless, his favorite character of all time remains Superman---and he has strong leanings towards both DC and Marvel right now.

He also is the interviews editor for Comixpedia.

He does the comic strip MINDMISTRESS, in addition to FLICKERFLAME.
