Animaritim 2009 was awesome! March 6-8th, it was a crazy 3 days. Next year's con will be a 1 day event ["Animinitime"], followed by a return to massive con-ness in 2011.

This piece was done waaaaayyyy back after the 2008 Con, after we'd established the theme as "Giant Monsters". I came up with some design ideas I wanted to use for the artwork for the 2009 Con, such as the Gamera-esque Frelly.

This is a quick piece of artwork I did [with a blue brush pen 0_o....I was low on art pens at the time] for 2009 Poster art, probably around Fall 2008. It brings in a giant robot version of Fujoshi 5000, and more fun silliness. Some nice colour posters with this were actually put on the manga spinners at my local comic shop. Kuri http://www.kuri-ousity.com/ did up the graphic design and info for the PDF printout we posted.
Animaritime 2009 T-shirt art, massive mascot collage of DOOM
This was done on 11x17 bristol. Our conchair cleaned it up a bit for the T-shirt, this being my frankensteined version cobbled together with MSPaint and my tiny scanner. The twins are Mocha and Latte, new characters introduced for the monster theme, a reference to the singing twins in the Mothra movie. Try to spot all the geeky monster movie references in the art for 09's con. The Staff Shirt this year was a rather violent shade of red. Hooray!
