Ernest Brown was fifteen when he decided to choose a new name for himself. He's been called Oberon ever since, and is seriously considering legally changing it now that he's eighteen. Although the name Ernest has a rich history in the pantheon of English literature (Ernest Hemingway, Oscar Wilde's play "The Importance of Being Ernest", etc.) he decided it was boring, and took a new (and still literarily significant) name: Oberon. (The whole 'king of the fairies' thing wasn't lost on him either, although that's not why he picked it. He considers it an added bonus.)

Apart from his rather singular moniker, Oberon is a cheerful young man who loves to dance, act, and read. He'd like to write, but really isn't all that good at it, so he sticks with just performing the writings of others.

He's from the Midwest (Ohio, in particular), and can't get over how all these Yankees don't pronounce their "r"s... He's also a vegetarian, much to the dismay of his parents, who now mercifully (for their nerves) don't have to deal with him daily any more. Back to the Cast Page
