Every Tuesday
For a while, I toyed with the idea of doing all of the Kevin Analog stories completely in pencil. For one, it would involve less work and more importantly, Jesus Christ that just came out so lovely. Don't you agree...?
Every now and then, I pick up a new brush pen and toy with the idea of abandoning the Crow Quill forever. With a look at two of those three trees behind Mr. Kevin Analog, it's kind of easy to see why. Note the early nose.
Here's a look at what I do at work. Although it's a bit tough to read, these pages match up pretty perfectly with the final product. You know, the Kevin Analog mini-comic that's on sale now.
In today's installment, we see how much difference a nose can make.
This charming little diversion was created at SPX 2004. If you squint, you can actually see the number of votes each nose received. As you can see in the resulting mini-comic, I didn't use the winner. But don't let that keep you from entering the Mix Tape Contest.
