     I have no immediate plans for Surviving Mars. For the time being it's on an indefinite hiatus.

There's two kinds of engines: ion engines (the blue ones) and there are the ones that use combustable fuels, or rocket fuel (the orange ones). I forget exactly what they're called, but you get the idea.
