Yet another little reason that the public school system should be torn down, brick from brick, the rubble set on fire, crushed by bulldozers, buried, and then the ground peed on and strewn with salt.... It's nothing but a reeducation camp for the converting of bright, happy children full of potential into sub-intelligent, disposable cogs, governed by a Lord of the Flies atmosphere that festers right under the noses of the dullwitted bureaucrats and grossly incompetent teacher's union flunkies that run it. Its functioning results in exactly this sort of pointless cliqueing and vicious, evil clawing for status and power-- the kind of dehumanizing sadism you see in prison populations. We willingly put our children through this pointless, peer-pressure ruled hell, and then we stand around gawping at each other wondering why teen suicide is so high, or why some kid goes bugnuts and starts shooting up the school... Not that I'm BITTER or anything. Here's praying that Violet overcomes this vicious little minx--- and maybe that someone will cut the poor mouse girl a little break, too...
