What happened here is the realization that he's not really out on a date with you, he's out on a date with his cell phone and you're just there to stand in for the "accessories" said phone lacks to properly "finish" the date. And yes, you will be expected to, because someone with an ego as large and dense as his has long since lost any ability to even precive the possibility, however At least, that's what would happen if you weren't a teenage girl with a lack of experience and an excess of hormones so overpowring that it would take a spetaculaly brutal beating with the proverbial clue-by-four to get this simple fact through to you. Sorry if this sounds a bit cynical, but after watching more "smart" girls than I care to rember having their hearts broken by brainless [BLEEP]ks like this one, and at one point even having been the [BLEEP]hole who managed to find an intelligent, beautiful young woman and then slenselesly crush her heart by being nothing more than the typical insensitive, selfish and self-deluding moron that I am, even in fiction I hold out little hope anymore. That said, the aforementioned epiphany does seem increacingly likely with each boneheaded move that narcasistic [BLEEP]k makes, as even the most toweringly collosial [BLEEP]ks were never this completely incompetent on a first date. I'm still not going to hold my breath. And yes I'm aware of the immaturity of useing "[BLEEP]" to cover over every [BLEEP]t, [BLEEP]k, [BLEEP]t or [BLEEP]k that happens to come out of my mouth, but out of respect for the creators of the comic, and a desire to not have this post deleted on sight, I figured it to be the most effective method to get my point across without crossing any arbitrary lines.

i'm not really the dating type but know enough to expect to wind up going home alone in a dater situation like that. either because i left my so called date or because my date left while i was busy on the phone. i think that the both need clue by fours. Violet because she's really not using her head and she's so much smarter then that. and Darrin's well he needs every woman he ever tried to date to come along and whack him with a clue by four.
