RG Garcia (ruff1298) says: Ouch...
Dustin Sisson (blooddraken) says: poor kid
Pete Bagheera (bagheera) says:

"But but..."

Poor Violet. That there in panel 4 is exactly how I would have felt.

Michael Stein (stein) says: Yet they seem to have no policy against two faced backstabbing.
Feebriel Lerderna (feebriel) says: A week off school? Hell, I'm down with that. Lucky her. And probably by the time she gets back it'll all have blown over.
andrew rocha (nall) says:

You know, outside of work, I don't see why taking a person out of a place they more than likely don't want to be in the first place can be considdered punishment.

The only down side to being suspended from school is make up homework, which if you're smart enough to realize that you could just ask a friend for the assignments, isn't all that hard to keep up with.

It's like saying "have a little vacation for doing some thing wrong."

Draco Minimus (little_dragon) says: On the other hand ... six-day weekend.
Misty Caldwell (anivasion) says: Some schools have a minimum attendance policy and missing a whole week could set you back by flunking you for the semester. Also, there's the stigma of being suspended for probably the first time ever. That would be my face too.
Dan Knightmare (knightmare4u) says:

a vacation! well she's smart I'm sure she'll be able to keep up with her work, but more time at home mean's more BRAD and more new human so let's take this as a blessing in disguise

Sean Chapman (angstskunk) says: Out of school suspension is only a boon 'if' your parents agree with the sentence and add to it.  Speaking from experience.
E voyager (darke3_voyager) says: she didn't get a chance to explain.(not that most authority figures would let some one explain) if she did explain i wonder if both the fist wedgier and the fist victim would be suspended for starting the craze
Nick Stevens (darketiger) says:

Did you hear? Violet got suspended, she must be turning rebellious... rumour rumour rumour... She's the baddest girl in school... rumour rumour rumour.

Lemme guess, someone gets wind of this and they then spread rumours around the school leading to more attention (infamy). I'm putting ideas in your head aren't I?

A whole week for something so minor as a wedgie is a bit excessive, still, now she can be annoyed by Beatrice about the G-spot a bit more... Sherlock Holmes shall uncover this most intriguing mystery of the spot of G!

Though may I just say, great looking badger dean, though Violet's mouth in frame 3 looks more like lips than an open mouth, and I don't think such a strict dean would call them 'wedgies', he would be more inclined to say, "Uplifting of the pantaloons.".

Pete Bagheera (bagheera) says:

The punishment in itself is not the worst part. I always was a bit of a teacher's pet in those days, and saw myself as a well-behaved boy. (and wanted to be seen like that too.) Then suddenly they tell you you've done something awful, and you're a Bad Kid! Bad enough to get suspended, no less. THAT's what hurts.

Melody said Violet never even hit someone before the wedgie, and with what Violet says in the 3rd panel, I'd guess Violet's a bit like me in that respect.

And on top of all that, it's unfair, which makes it even worse.

I don't think I'd have come up with the phrase "6 day weekend, woohoo!" at that age. :)

Ralph Hayes (rhjunior) says:

And yet this incompetent boob lets two violent bullies run around the school for years on end without so much as a twitch.

Government schools are run by incompetent union-pampered idiots whose entire objective is to get paid 50 thousand a year without the danger of actually having to EARN their pay.

carlos coto (c-los) says: i have been suspended once so i know how it feels. not fun. well better that than being kicked out.
Timber Wolf (blackout5871) says: *cries* Thats so unfair!
Edwin Quantrall (reynard) says: No fair!!! Badgering poor Violet like that...
steven conroy (starfox64) says: HA HA! Shoulda done what I do. LIE!
Tsunari (tsunari) says: Well Violet will learn and grow from it.  Hopefully knowing that doing the right thing sometimes comes with penalties and that she could look at it like a reward instead of a punishment.
Duran Artora (duran_a) says:

Ah, yes... high schools and their twisted concept of justice. Sometimes you win though. <anecdote> When I was a sophomore, there were rumors of a panty theif going about the school. I caught a guy sneaking into the girl's locker room, and we ended up getting into a fight. Normally, that would've gotten both of us suspended, but I requested they search his locker.

After finding about 30 pairs of panties, the guy was expelled and I got an award-type paper to bring home. Better yet, I seemed to have earned the respect of many of the girls in the school, but that's a story for another day, maybe. </anecdote>

Mittie Jane Katlin (mittenjanie) says: This is all Racquel and Darrin's faults. Stupid them!
