Cliffhangers

Y'know, one of my friends who saw this page said I was missing out on the opportunity to use a perfectly good cliffhanger here. I shoulda ended the page, she said, with the "BLAM" sound effect that appears in the gutter between panel 174 and panel 175. And then skipped updating for two weeks before I gave you its resolution.

She may have been right. Good writing is all about timing, but good writing in a serial lives and dies on where you put the page breaks.
