Betty's Grandmother and newest legal guardian, Grammy lives on the family farm just outside of Armstrong, a town somewhere in the great Southern Midwest.

When Grammy was younger her family escaped Eastern Europe just before the outbreak of World War 2, fleeing the threat of war and eventually settling in America. She is a storehouse of legends, myths and superstitions from the old country, often reciting stories that were once handed down for generations. Her pack rat behavior has amassed a veritable library of strange artifacts and ancient tomes of questionable origin.
