Just in case you were wondering, an irony field is made up of fourth-wall particles called "iryons."
In case you couldn't tell, in the last panel the figures in the background are hauling a cannon by hand like the Revolutionary War heroes that they are.
Yes, Taylor did draw that cathedral himself. Neat, huh?
