Fond as I am of dialogue, I am not fond of covering up half the stuff I drew with ballooooons. Art/text balance is a painful lesson and I am in the slow class, I fear. >_<

If the shadows on the Keps seem weird, it's because they're not exactly shadows. They have color-shifty skin; it's one of the only things that makes me wish I worked in color. Pretty much the ONLY thing, in fact. I'll do some oekaki of them after the conseason, as a present for me, because chromatophores are nifty.
