Jason is the focus of the story, he is the assistant instructor for Sabum's Martial Arts School: MMA (Midwest Martial Arts) Training Branches.

During the day Jason is an elementary art teacher.

Jason is married to his wife Lily.

His brother Jack is also an instructor at the MMA academy.

He is good friends with the weapons instructor (A.J.).
