I really really liked the first and second Matrix movies.  The first one was just good and I had way too much fun with the second one to hate it.  It did end on a "What!? C'mon!" moment, but I still dug those fight sequences.  And those twins were cool cats (see previous comic).

But this movie just...it made no sense!  I wanted to like it so bad.  I do give it props for giving me that feeling of "the end of the world" - the planet abandoned and empty.  It filled me with dread, but I can't tell if it was the story or the movie itself that depressed me.  All in all, it was too much.
