Before JP lost his sight ("no too long ago... in a shark attack") he taught language arts and is formidably effusive "comics' historian - twice removed" with "attentional inconsistantcies". JP is clearly the Cartoon Crisis Center's wise @$$, using his dizzying wit to keep people off balance. Which is also how he effecetively puts the chaos of others back together for them - usually without their noticing.
