The 1980's superhero team, The Invincibles, have long disbanded. Their leader, Julius Smithers (The Spymaster), hung up his cowl in the early 1990's to enter federal politics. He has recently been named Governer General. His faithful daughter Julia serves as his assistant and the ever-present mystery-man, the Agent is his bodyguard. Captain Nepto (David Anderson) retired from crime-fighting in the late 1990's but here returns (with the Warrior and Nightmare) to unleash a new brand of justice, one at odds with his former friend, Julius Smithers. Redman (Joe Schmultz) has given up his private identity and now serves full-time as the country's national defender. The other DFG heroes have continued to work independently or have gone into retirement.
