She was the first of two different characters named Hercula, the other being in a wholly different comic series. Because of and despite that, she was soon lapsed out of Captain Saucer continuity.

This cover is a something of a product of somebody who is not necessarily all that accomplished, and not necessarily all that aware of it, trying to draw a '70s Heavy Metal magazine type of thing as filtered through early '80s New Wave.

Years later, I suffered through spending too much time trying to fix of a scan of the crumbling original with a lot if White-Out flaking off cheep paper.
