Saturdays and Sundays

This is the second of the two middle pages. And like the other, these panels should have been spaced out over another page or two.

Although, it’s probably better than it could have been. This story was actually thumb-nailed on scratch paper and the page breaks then figured out before the final pages were drawn. Nearly everything else in the ‘80s was written adlib as each page was drawn, giving it all that so-unique unpolished quality. Another draft, or four, would have been so much helpful.

On the other hand, writing the story completely out in those days before word processing would have been several times harder and pretty much a project killer. So these were gotten done in about the only way the era let them get done.
