This has the curio of cribbing a Velvet Underground title years before William Gibson cribbed it.

Also the subtitle is a portmanteau of Eric Von Dankien's "Chariots of the Gods" and John Keat's "The Insolent Chariots". The latter book was a scathing critique of tail-fin era Detroit products.

BTW, Studebakers were made in South Bend, Indiana...

Oddly enough, this is a retro thing that takes place 30 some years before it's draw.
