jesse burton (theburton) says: W00t! eariler than i expected
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: Running a little behind. Inks are complete for the next page, but I'm coming down with something, so I'm going to bed, instead of staying up to finish the page. It'll be up tomorrow.
Ian Morrison (starstriker) says:
Geez, Dirk, didn't you get the memo? You're not ALLOWED to be sick. It's, like, illegal or something. Geez.
Damn webcomic creators, not following the rules. :P
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: Turned out to be strep throat. Saw the doctor about it, actually. I'm CONTAGIOUS.
Oh, well. I just finished page 24. It'll go up at midnight.
Ian Morrison (starstriker) says: Hey, Dirk, weren't you moving these discussions into the forums?
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: I'd still like to, but I got distracted from doing much about it.
So far there haven't been many takers, but I haven't posted direct links to the forum, either. I might have to just zap the comment tool to make it happen.
Robert Frazer (robertfrazer) says: From the searching look he gave Kate, I think we all know that the one thing that he most definitely ISN'T here for is the warehouse case...!
Dread Lord CyberSkull (cyberskull) says: So how is his name pronounced then?
Ian Morrison (starstriker) says:
I think I can pronounce it myself, but I have NO IDEA how to put it into text.
Ever played Soul Calibur? Find out how the announcer pronounces Xianghua's name and you'll have your answer. Kate's mispronounciation with a "j" sound wasn't too far off.
guy (natnat) says: His name would be pronouced like "jeang"
guy (natnat) says:
-with a "sh" sound blended in with the "je-"
-the differance bettween "jiang" and "xiang"
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: http://www.yourdictionary.com/ahd/x/x0006800.html
Dread Lord CyberSkull (cyberskull) says: I think I've got it…
I'll have to bust out my copy of SCII and check.
Laur Joost (tomcc) says:
Just read the whole thing, am 2h late for work :D, luckily the job is not pressing. Definetly gonna be on my comic bookmark list. Also, graphically one of the best i've seen, and comparing the lenght of one update with other webcomics, once a week is still more than others three times.
Got the story quality of Girl Genius and Megatokyo (the later parts) and the graphic quality of Misfile and Megatokyo... if just to compare it to something. All are my all-time favourites, and i have a feeling this will belong there too.
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: Thanks! Much appreciated. I'm glad you're enjoying it.
And thanks again to everyone for their patience. As usual, I'm running behind this week. It'll go up when it goes up and no sooner.
Brodie Sharp (brodiesharp) says: k
pero kaso (pero) says:
O Rly? Ya Rly!! NO WAI!
Her puke is still there! xD
Laur Joost (tomcc) says: Guess there are Werewolves in Kentucky too...
Cisel Kane (cisel) says: Continues to back my idea that this is a expariment someone, ether goverment, private, or medical/public/corpreate gone VERY very WRONG... it would make sence in some ways... multible facilitys across america, not keeping all your eggs in one basket, and first you get your mestake in one area, next thing you know, you got break outs and poor hapless people turned werebeast supersolder expariment all over the place who have no clue whats going on, what they are, where they woke up at, where they were, and go back into there lives, or try to... or I could be way out into left field to the point im long gone... (laughing) just a idea.
Timothy Schoonhoven (lord_obsidious) says: Orrrrrrrrrrrrr, there could be some kind of rare werewolf virus going about, and this secret groups notices it, and there takes it into their hands. They start fiddling with it, and well, who knows what else they plan to do. I know it sounds like poppycock, but it's an idea nonetheless XD.
Laur Joost (tomcc) says: Hmm... this guy who got himself arrested seems to know everything... I really can't wait when he and our own favorite werewolf meet.
pero kaso (pero) says: Casual conversation at the crime scene.. gotta love police. :D
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: No update this week. Overwhelmed with work.
I am taking July off, too, but I may try to finish out the scene yet. I'll give you an idea of what to expect on this after I get through the week.
Laur Joost (tomcc) says: aw shait... just when it was getting REally interesting...
Ed Paradis (zudarkness) says:
Cool with me.
Laur Joost (tomcc) says: hey, by all means, everybody has to rest, I got no problem with that... could use some myself. But I still got my evolution-given right to whine about it :D
Sophie Langsley (bunnigirl) says: omgeeee~~ I saw you at the auction at CTcon last week and I can't believe your webcomic! This is way better than you make it out to be when you're advertising!!! I can't wait for the next page! I'm dying to read more!!!! <3<3<3<3<3 x 10000000000000000!
Sophie Langsley (bunnigirl) says: This is Bunniegirl/sohpie's twin. I saw you at CTcon last week and talked to you for a bit. I can't believe this comic! It's amazing! I can't wait to read more! I knew I would love this comic! What did I tell you! haha. You're amazing! I can't wait to read more, yo! Woot! ^_^
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: Hey, hey! Glad you liked it. Yeah, I'm really no good at advertising. Ultimately, I'd rather just draw the comic. Well, and come to conventions, becuase that's pretty fun too.
I had a blast at Connecticon, BTW! I've been readying a blog post about the trip this week, but my internet time has been limited. I'm at Otakon now, and I'm about to head out the door for a 14-hour marathon at my artist's table.
Anyway, I'll tell you all about it and my adventures in NYC when I get some more time. more soon!
Andrew Yager (amish_otaku) says:
It was good to meet you at Otakon and shoot the breeze (hopefully I didn't turn into too much of a bore) for a while. Your comic has been, and remains, one of the best ones on the web, and I'm still spreading the word as I can about it.
Incidentally, did you end up running out of the Paradigm Shift postcards on Saturday?
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: Hey, man! Thank you! I was able to conserve the postcards until Sunday, but ran out midway through. Luckily, I had some cheap back-ups I used to carry through the end. They were small and not quite as nice, buy did the job.
It was great to meet you and guys this weekend. Thanks once again for all your help and support! We couldn't have made it through without you.
Hope to see you at next year's Otakon! Good times!
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: Okay, I'm back from San Diego. Going to rest for a few days and wrap up some loose ends on some paying work. I'll shoot to have some sort of con report up this week. Updates will resume next Tuesday!
Ed Paradis (zudarkness) says: Welocme back
Josh Little (jotacon) says: Hey, there. Glad I picked up the first copy of your book. Read it on the way to the airport and when I got home I finished up the rest of it here. Awesome read, and I hope to see you at another con sometime soon.
A Fargo (fargo) says: Hope you'll be back soon!
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: New page coming tomorrow! Inks are complete. Nothing left but to scan & tone.
Jennifer Camille (jclp) says: Thank you for coming back!!
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: Hey, I keep my promises. Thanks for your patience. I really needed that break. You have no idea.
Timothy Schoonhoven (lord_obsidious) says: Weeeeeeeeeee!! You finally updated. Thankies!! Hope you had a nice vacation and all.
Christian Marg (einhirn) says:
I am excited to see this story continued - great work so far!
Sophie Langsley (bunnigirl) says:
It's Sophie/bunnie gurl's twin again!!!!

Zedd Overkill (zeddoverkill) says: Welcoem back, Dirk! GLad you enjoyed your break! And it was awesome seeing you at Otakon this year! xD
