ACT II now running at www.paradigmshiftmanga.com
William Gray (genereaver) says:

Yay! It's back!

On a more related note... looks like we've got another one!

Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: No, no.  This is just revisting the first scene.  Gotta catch the FBI man up to speed.
William Gray (genereaver) says:

Oh. Oops...

Anyway, glad to see you're back in action. Wish I could've been at Otakon, but it's a bit out of my effective radius.

Ian Morrison (starstriker) says: Wait, how did the print get missed the first time around?
Dirk Tiede (dirktiede) says: Well, when you know what you're looking for...
So It Begins (soitbegins) says: So... do you think it's really being done by a member of the species Homo Sapiens Verto Canis Lupus? (Translation: Werewolf.)
Ian Morrison (starstriker) says:

Deeeeefinitly werecat. Or werelion.

Andrew Brown (andrewxc) says: Any member of the Lupine family, including all species of dogs, have fixed claws that do not retract.  As such, their prints will ALWAYS have claw marks above the front pads.  Cats, on the other hand, can retract their claws, rendering them almost silent (especially on tile floors and concrete... If you have one pet of each, call them across it, as an experiment), and you will not see the claw marks in their tracks.
Joseph Myers (warsmith_bob) says:

I say unholy scientific chimera. The teeth, claws, fur and nocturnal vision of a big cat, the sense of smell and endurance of a wolf and you have a definite super predator.

Bucket Streidl (chalengerx) says:

Actually werewolves unlike most dogs have raised claws on their hind legs due to walking on two feet. So the prints do not actually need claw prints.

I have fought them you know...
