More Kate Studies (2002)
Drawing Kate again. Shocker. More pose studies, of course. The gun was actually a hair dryer in the photo, but it's much funnier this way.
Hand Studies (2002)
Drew these after taking a look at a really useful hand-drawing tutorial at PolyKarbon. Definitely helped speed up my hand drawing skills, even though I had a pretty good idea in the first place.
Late Part One Kate Model Sheet (2002)
Some more turn-arounds. Wasn't quite satisfied with this one.
Feminine Kate Studies (2002)
Now, somewhere along the line I realized that while Kate is, indeed, a big tomboy, that she also has a feminine side -- one that I really hadn't drawn much. In fact, had avoided in some ways for whateve reason. The solution was, in addition to the fitness magazines, to delve into some of my then-girlfriend's Victoria Secret catalogs. Worked like a charm. =)
More Feminine Kate Studies (2002)
Turns out that drawing feminine poses is a lot of fun.
Yet More Feminine Kate Studies (2002)
Yup. An awful lot of fun. ;)
