Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and building back up...

Welcome Sci-Fi Channel website readers!

If you’ve just come over from their site by way of Serenity Tales, thanks for stopping by to check my comic out -- and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, Sci-Fi has named Serenity Tales their site of the week. Give it a look.

Speaking of which...

New ‘Serenity Tales’ strip!

I’ve got a new strip up at Serenity Tales — it’s a collaboration with writer Mark Bourne. From the description at the site: "The Story: Jayne hearts comic books. The crew hearts making fun of Jayne for hearting comic books. "

Sean Smithers (golux) says: Heh, Lotta McMansionville Ghost Towns around this area where they were successful at bulldozing meadows so they could pave them over and rubber stamp them with the typical Vulgarian 3500 square foot retired person homes. No matter how low they go, the real estate stays on the market. Demolition has started on some of the unfinished stuff. The Demo crew took a chainsaw to the walls just above the sill all the way around two of them, used an excavator to yank them down and haul them to the dump. Two years standing roofless does wonders to OSB sheeting. Just shot through with black mold from those wet Oregon winters. Total waste of trees, most of it hopefully got hauled over to BioMass. The rest of the housing sits with its dried up crusts of rolled sod lawns that haven't been watered for the last 2 1/2 years. Yummy presentation.

The town council has declared war on any outlying landowners who farm. LID's go into effect, the landowner gets charged $65,000 to $95,000 for improvements and has to take out a mortgage or subdivide and sell. Yep, it was a real weiner of a proposition and the Aunt Millie PR worked like a dream. Our retribution will come when fuel gets so expensive that we can't take advantage of globalized food supplies bringing in our produce from Mexico, Central America and Chile.
Sean Smithers (golux) says: As of 2008, Heh!
