Luke Gedeon (lgedeon) says: So they are driving along and then all of the sudden in the last panel, where did the steering wheel go?

David Harmon (mental_mouse) says: Or the scene has changed to a coffeehouse which happens to match the color scheme of the car....  Come on man, you need to work on your excuses!  :-)
Daniel Dwiggins (dand) says:

Obviously she was so shocked by the IRS comment that she slammed on the brakes, hence the no hands on the wheel.  At the same time the camera jumped inwards to emphasize the suddenness of the action, and thus the wheel is below the frame.

I'm a middle-aged computer programmer from Indiana, but I've always enjoyed doodling and drawing. After discovering webcomics recently, I decide to try my hand at creating one. My wife thinks I'm crazy. My wife is a very sensible woman. ... full profile
