Mondays and Fridays
That Carrie's a little hothead, isn't she?

Well, the job in North Carolina didn't work out ... I've spent the last couple of days packing up and moving back to Indiana.  On the bright side, I get to hug my wife again.

Next episode will be delayed for a few days while I deal with unemployment offices and job searches again.  Fun fun fun ... or other words beginning with the same letter.

UPDATE:  Finally got the strip updated.  Looks like the boys found Carrie's berserk button (yeah, this will go into TV Tropes soon).

Birthday Saturday, dinner with the folks Sunday, possible job interview Tuesday ... life ain't boring.

In the words of Lazlo P. Hollyfeld, "Well, then I'm happy and sad for you."

Being out of work, especially nowadays, sucks the big wazzoo.  But not being able to hug your wife, that su...well, no, actually to be accurate, that would lack...um, er...*blush*...let's just say that's *really really terrible*.

Good luck with the job hunting! I hope the next job will be closer to home.

I'm a middle-aged computer programmer from Indiana, but I've always enjoyed doodling and drawing. After discovering webcomics recently, I decide to try my hand at creating one. My wife thinks I'm crazy. My wife is a very sensible woman. ... full profile
