Yes, you can knock the other side's balls away, or knock the pallino to a different spot, or try to place your shots so they block your opponent. Good players can use a fair amout of strategy placing their shots.

Sorry for delays in responding ... I just moved to a new job and it took a few days to get my internet connection up and running. Bocce rules: You can use your ball to hit the pallino, knock it away from your opponents, knock it closer to your own balls ... it's all legal. Yes, Carrie is Christian. She's more a believer in actions than words. As for her hair, it has some mobility of its own ... I'll go into more detail as the story progresses. If the girls ever have a sleepover, watch out for a flood of exposition.
