Man, it took a long time to finish this. The backgrounds in the first couple of panels were complex enough ... plus I lost a few days having to drive back to Indiana for a court appearance. I noticed that, having gotten into the top 100 on WCN, my page hits were really increasing ... then I noticed that I was getting the exact same number of page hits every day. I asked Joey Manley, who said that there was a problem with the page counter script, which hopefully would be fixed by moving to a new server. So, apparently I'm not getting nine thousand hits per day. Darn. Still, I would like to know if any new readers have come along since we got into the top 100. If you're a new reader, please drop me a line at eagedeon@yahoo.com and let me know how you found out about the comic. I must now go hunt a cheeseburger.

Heh. I like Uma. "Come! We hunt!" is just the sort of overdramatization of everyday activities that most of my friends are prone to.

I don't know if it was before or after you got into the top 100, but I followed you over from Skin Horse a while back.

I utterly love this page. So many wonderful lines, Every panel rocks! The egging each other on, the delighted jaegermonsterish "we hunt!", the "apex predator, the "we'll make a heathen out of you yet", as resistance crumbles...

Not to mention the great art.

And I also followed over from Shaenon's comics a while back, and I'm glad I did.
