Mondays and Fridays
You meet all sorts in here ...

That's Jenny, at the table in the back.  She does get everywhere, doesn't she?  And she does love her some toast.  BTW, if you don't recognize the speaker at Toastmasters, you can catch his whole speech here.

OK, splitting up the update again ... the rest of this episode is taking longer than I had planned, but I will get it posted sometime Saturday.  UPDATE:  Well, 11:45 pm is still "sometime Saturday", isn't it?

Man, it's been a long time since we've seen Uma ... Yes we will tell her story one of these days.

Oh, and I did some fanart for Tailsteak's "Leftover Soup"; check out this page, and then my version of events.

Please click on the TWC vote button ... just because.

Yeah, toast! :P

Hey, Ed, I think I recognize the bird painting-isn't that one you did to raise money after a disaster? What about the other two on the wall? Any chance of a closeup so we can see the details?

Edit-I just clicked on your links. D'oh! That explains the bear, what about the other one?

Ed Gedeon (eddurd) says:

The one to the right of the bear is the "Saturday Night FEMA" I did for Skin Horse (check the archives for the "Brave Little Toasters" story arc).  Behind Uma's head is a fan art I did for Gunnerkrigg Court; it's somewhere in the fan art forum on that site.  Drat, I can't post links in these follow-up comments ... I'll have to add links next episode.

I like to think that I inspired some of this page. ;)

I briefly belonged to Toastmasters. I won the best speech of the week trophy in my chapter with my "Getting To Know You" speech. That's the first speech you make.

I was only there because my boss had decided to send all of the programmers so they'd be able to talk to more than machines. But my degree is in Theater, not comp-sci, so it was sort of like swatting flies with a hellburner. My boss didn't make me go back when I showed off that trophy.

@Gwen:  Yes, my take on Jenny was inspired by the Infinite Quarktime Jenny.  Especially her love of toast.  Thanks!
