In case you can't make it out, the label on the extinguisher reads, "Caution!  Plot Device!"  (Well, it is rather convenient for it to be there...)  Mr. Mighty has bested all his new teammates in practice ... now what?  (Hint:  things aren't about to get easier)

Why is Mr. Mighty thanking Steve McQueen?  He's seen the old 1958 version of The Blob, where the townspeople defeat the monster by freezing it.  The best part of the movie was the title song.

After all the hoo-hah I made about updating twice last week, I got lazy this week and barely got one comic done.  Bad cartoonist!
