The ghost of a Native American killed under unknown circumstances, although he seeks to haunt (sometimes erroneously) the descendants of imperialists. It is unclear whether he was actually a chief when he was alive, since he lacks a headdress or any other stereotypical sign of a chief, but the name "Chief Drowning Fish," aptly symbolic of a people dying in the very land in which they thrive, is nevertheless the name attached to him by legend.
