For the most part I have about five skin tones that I use on a regular basis. I’ve always viewed it as part of the simplification that I have to do to translate people into pixelated avatars. For instance, I’m not quite so pink in real life. Well, unless I’ve been drinking, maybe.

However, since Jason is a major character and keeps asking about it, I’ve been adjusting his sprite on and off since his first appearance (which was the same color as panel 5). I think I’ve finally nailed it.
