Do you like hardboiled action? Do you like danger? Perhaps you like suspense? And, do you say you like your hardboiled action, your danger, and your suspense with a healthy dollop thuggish ignorance? Well, then Dick Hammer is the webcomic for you. I say that without exclamation point only because I was trying to be ironic. In fact, the sentence "Well, then Dick Hammer is the webcomic for you" should be followed by multiple exclamation points!!! I don't know why you're still reading this when you should be reading DICK HAMMER by CHRIS WISNIA! It is as unbelievably wonderful as when Richard Nixon visited China! Read it, it's good for you.

Chicago? That's a plus. Tightly written cop story? Another plus.
Were-whaaa? Yeah, that's gonna be a double plus.
Okay, this may be just me, but I don't know of too many well-done web comics about police. That's a pity, because cop drama is danged popular, and one of my favourite genres.
Thank goodness for Dirk Tiede's Paradigm Shift. It's writing is taut, the drama and mystery is strong, and it's hella easy on the eyes. The characters aren't stereotypes and bumbling fools, nor is setting ignored. This is a Chicago story, and buildings, overpasses and alleys are recognisable and lovingly drawn.
But you're saturated by that other media with cop drama, don't worry. Paradigm Shift has a bit of a surprise for you.

I have been hanging out at WCN for a while now and Op Wound is still at the top of my read list. I cant single any one of these murderous wackos out for they skills because they are all kick ass at what they do. This latest installment will surely "wow" any reader. You want badass? You want hardcore? You want blood by the gallons and shells by the truckload? Hang out with these guys, I promise you won't be dissapointed!
