The Cacophone! Yay! This is one of my favorite comics. I'd love to make it into a running gag if my comic continues longer. I see a lot of comic potential in that. Also, the Cacophone is just about the first meaningful name/pun that isn't cringeworthy (for me).

About the Invader From Outer Space: These aren't the first aliens to invade Earth, and certainly not the last either. It's the Gerbilverse, so Earth has a number of secret organisations protecting us. For now, they're just random aliens, but I might expand their backstory if they return.

About the Mociorena of Valoosius: It's a horrible abomination that even the Invaders From Outer Space are afraid of. Luckily, the sound it makes is identical to the Cacophone, which sounds a bit like a loud, low tuba note. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.
