Technically, they didn't even get THAT. At least 3 of the episodes from the boxset never aired. A lot of it had to deal with a lot of stuff. I suggest checking Wikipedia, which will probably have a much easier to understand explaination than I could give you. But yes, go buy Firefly. The power of Sci-Fi compells you!
