Mike Fang (mikefang) says: You know I'd love to make some observations about this relationship triangle, but I'd probably wind up with Wyld's toeclaw marks on my rear if I did. (repost from previous strip 'cause I want to see people's response)
Rhennessa (rhennessa) says: The site updating on time? Now THAT's drama!
Vince Kamenev (vince_kamenev_the_wolftiger) says: I'm curious about Mike's observations.
Ricky Hyde (ricky) says: I bet Wyld must be an amazing fighter.

Anyways, that is awesome

Mike Fang (mikefang) says:

Well, Vince, since you're curious...

I think it's pretty clear Padfoot's upset about this situation.  For all her expressed indifference to his unhappiness, I'll give Wyld the benefit of the doubt and say deep down she must feel bad about hurting Pads this way, open relationship notwithstanding. To me, it seems clear he must have agreed to it being open so she'd be happy, but secretly was hoping no one else would ever try to move in on her.

So with this in mind, it looks like Wyld is trading being temporarily happy on a date with Karrl for feeling bad about what she's doing to Padfoot later. She's also straining their relationship, and Padfoot may eventually decide that if she's willing to go out with other people, he's never going to have a serous relationship with her, and to give up on a lost cause. Unlikely, but when faced with enough disappointment, almost anyone has a breaking point.

Now looking at Wyld's budding involvement with Karrl, this is also a recipe for disaster. The stress it puts on her bond with Padfoot aside, she's going to eventually have to explain to Karrl that it's never going to get serious between them, unless of course that's the reason she wanted to keep her relationship with Pads open, so she can trade up whenever she feels like it (though I personally don't want to think she's that cruel).

So this will enevitably lead to Wyld having to break Karrl's heart. I have to wonder; is this the first time she's taken advantage of the open part of her relationship with Padfoot?  Didn't she realize that she'd have to let people down if she's always gonna come back to him? The eventual result of this will be the only men who will show interest in her are ones who just want a one night stand, wam-bam-thank-you-ma'me.

So, to sum up my observations; Wyld's seriously putting Padfoot's faithfulness to the test, she's setting Karrl up to be crushed, and setting hserself up for either a major case of guilt or to get a reputation as being an easy score. And now, I'm going to run before Wyld or one of the other nutty broads on her cast tries to hospitalize me. *The doberman promptly takes off at a dead run*

Sugar Leigh (sugar) says:

Well, as much as I love this comic, and especially as much as I love Wyldsyde (she's my favorite character!), I must say that I agree, at least in part, with Mike.

Honestly, I've never understood the whole "open relationship" thing. Open relationships and "friends with benefits" seem to me like a lot more trouble than they are worth, as well as full of confusion and heartache for everyone involved.

That said, I also have to admit that I've not seen a whole lot of affection between Wyldsyde and Padfoot... it was mostly one-sided, with Pads adoring Wyld and Wyld giving him, as far as I could tell, the same amount of affection and loyalty that she gives all her good friends, but nothing more or nothing more special than that. Now, Wyld treats her friends well and I certainly appreciate that, but if you're in love with somebody don't they usually get that special something more? Honestly, I think she has better chemistry and reacts more strongly to Karrl than she does with Pads!

My guess is that, before this is over, all three of these characters are going to be in heartache city! But my hope is that in the end, they'll all be okay and maybe even better than before.

Vince Kamenev (vince_kamenev_the_wolftiger) says:

Wow...Well now that I have a better idea of what Mike's observation is, and what may happen.  My biggest guess that once Wyld finally makes it clear who she is going to be with.  There will be a coin flip in terms of what will happen.  Dump Karrl and if he finds out the Marco secret, Going to be some serious trouble with the anti-marco's and the studio.  Dump pads...well heartache hotel and guilt is what I can see.  But that is my opinion.

And to save my hide from a possible hospital trip since I asked for the observation...This wolftiger hybrid better high tail it.  *Runs for the hills*

Timothy Goddard (karo) says: padfoot's nodda bad wuffie, kaarl is. nyah! *sticks tounge out*
JJ Husk (jj_husk) says: So the date hasn't even begun and Wyld almost gave a new meaning to being hit on.
le mo (lemo) says: When you complete your first big onitsuka tiger by asics race, it's likely that you'll cherish all the memorabilia you receive at the finish line. Onitsuka Tiger Mini Cooper You may keep the bib, buy the photos or frame the finisher's certificate. And, of course, you will prize the medal that was placed around your asics gel shoes neck—sweaty ribbon and all. But, as we all know, races are like peanuts—you can't stop with just one. The medals start piling up. A half here, a 10K there, your first full, and then maybe an ultra or a triathlon, and what do you do with all these medals? Some people hang their medals on Onitsuka Tiger Mexico Mid Runner a pegboard or display rack on the wall, or drape every doorknob in the house. Others put the medals in shadow boxes or frame them in groups. I cut off the ribbons and use them as Christmas tree ornaments—shiny mementos of races past, displayed just long enough each year so I can remember the races. I've also seen jewelry trees and freestanding holiday ornament racks that would do well for hanging medals on for display. Occasionally asics onitsuka tiger medals are designed to serve a dual purpose, most often a bottle opener. That's an easy storage decision—within arm's reach of the refrigerator, close to the beer.

Let’s look at Rihanna for example, she has several tattoo kits and counting, but she has her tattoo ink for sale very tastefully done and they are also in not so noticeable places, plus a majority of them are rather small.
