Ivan Orion was once billed as "the World's Most Brilliant Boy", but his star faded with the rise of the Numen. As Numen became more and more populous, people cared less and less about Ivan Orion. Orion used his intellect generate thousands of patents for chemicals, devices, and processes. The income generated from these patents has allowed him to build a vast empire which spans all 7 continents and which has a GDP greater than the contiguous United States.
