She tries. The problem with a daughter like Conny is, you never really get her. Even if you think you do. It's a parent-children thing. Where children see monsters, parents just see disturbed children. They just don't get it. That said, Conny's mum really tries her best. She even manages to connect, sometimes. And they're not so different, after all. It's just that a mum's monsters are far more... grown-up than anything you find in primary school.
