First of all this marks the first new comic here on Webcomics Nation and the one month anaversary of the relaunch of "Right About Now." You would think I planned it this way. My thoughts behind the comic:

I could have waited a long time to move into this, however then it would get boring. I needed to move the plot foward. Besides, maybe now we can bring back Tricia...

Also I drew this before I double checked when they had the vote in the state senate, and I thought "Great, how am I going to explain why Michael and Dan are sleeping when the vote happens...."
