It's crazy; there is a recording of a Republican operative trying to convince some girls to sign a petition by offering to buy them drinks. I can't make this stuff up. One of the girls recorded what happened, and I had to use it for my story. From the recording there was no lie about which party the person being recalled was from, they were just vague. The problem of working in three panels is that you can't be vague.
