balcony with Jod

the apartment that manien and i lived in at this time was on the "14th" floor, and had a nice view from the balcony. it was also on the north side of the building, so it was nice and cool on hot summer days. i was apparently hanging out there with my older brother. i like to imagine we sat there sipping cold bottles of steamwhistle beer, enjoying a quiet afternoon.

across the way there was another building that was being built much of the year or so that manien and i lived in there. it gradually grew up to block our view in one direction. it was still not finished at this time, but two guys appeared on the roof, taking pictures of each other.
