july 3 - a la sneaque

i believe it was Free Comics Day, and i went to the beguiling, not to pick up comics or anything, but just for a visit. kean had a table out front along with some other toronto cartoonists. once he was done there, he and his friend kate joined me and my pal dave for a beer at the victory cafe. which i have to say is one of my favourite patios anywhere. so nice and spacious, not on a busy corner, shady. It is great.

and at some point we shifted down the road to sneaky dee's, and sat on the little tiny patio there. someone had a little dessert of some kind, but i don't know what it was, as i don't really associate desserts with sneaky dee's. and for some reason i did a little sketchy sketch of true, from true loves.
