if i'm not mistaken, this was also done at the Jason Kieffer opening... launch i guess i should really have been calling it... anyways, the first drawing was done by my pal mr. do, who wanted to play with the Pentel Brush Pen everyone was drawing with. it is a nice pen. i was completely unsure of how to colour his panel, so i didn't. at the time it reminded me of a mushroom cloud, so i drew one.

this is also appropriate, because it was an ongoing joke that mr. do was like, 80s guy, and for a long time he maintained that music peaked in 1982 or something. and what could be more 80s than a mushroom cloud. my brother and i at some point drew up a nice little list of good Mutually Assured Destruction music. all those mushroom clouds in videos. good times.
