HISTORY:

In an uncharacteristically outgoing move, Knox got cast in a play during our junior year in high school. It was there he met Nina. She claims she was a grip, but in truth no one would let her near any of the props or equipment. She just hung around during rehearsals and yakked everyone's ears off. Knox somehow found this attractive, and the next thing I knew they were dating. She's hung around his neck ever since.

What else can I say except Nina is living proof that ignorance is bliss. I admit that sometimes I almost envy her joyful outlook. But then she speaks, and it's all blasted to pieces for me. Maybe that's what Knox likes about her, though - she sure ain't complicated. She has revealed a dark side in the past, though. When she's not getting her way, she's not above nearly squeezing the life out of Knox to persuade him (or me) to do what she wants.

What really drives me nuts is how no one else seems to be as irritated by her as I am. Most people think she's adorable, and even (and it chokes me to write this) funny. But I try remind myself that she's not dating their best friend. They haven't had to sit through a movie with her, listening to "Who's that guy? Why is he shooting that other guy? That big man is scary, I don't like him..."
