This was done after Gaston had flooded the Bottom here in Richmond (far enough after the fact to make light of it, anyway). I did it for the VCU student paper, the Commonwealth Times. It didn't actually run on Pirate Day, tho, sadly. They ran it the following week.

The pirate femmes themselves are May (with the hat) and Bella (not with the hat). You'll be seeing more of them later, I assure you.
