Talk Like a Pirate Day 2005 [official site]. Hooray, hoorah. Tomorrow I will hopefully have a more substantial pirate-centric update.
In previous years, for whatever reason, the TLAPD has made reference to a hurricane hitting Virginia (Isabel and Gaston). This year, thankfully, my own state has no such misfortune. The closest I came was seeing the Hurricane in a tag match during the Unforgiven pay-per-view last night at Hooters.
But last night was the first night I've been able to go out in way too long (okay, two weeks, but it seems like LONGER), and I enjoyed myself. Thoroughly. Until about 3:30 in the morning. And then came home and did not sleep until about five.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go consume half my weight in wheat toast and tap water. urrrgggggh.
[Also, here is a bit more fun--this ArtPad program is amazing and I love it. I'll be posting more sketches soon (if you've been keeping up with the blog, then you've already seen this and some of the others, but I'll try to whip up some new ones sooner or later. Like, after I catch up on this asston of classwork.)]
