Tuesday and Thursday
Obama and McCain run to Kissinger.

My apologies for the late post. More like, yesterday's cartoon - today!

Most of y'all are probably thinking of the economy. Can't imagine why. Must be the sight of political elites of all officially sanctioned ideological stripes argue strenuously over how to save their corporate and investment bribers backers. But I'll do a cartoon on that for Thursday...I mean...Friday.

I'm a day behind. What can I say?

Oh, and: FTR, the U.S. C.I.A. did back a coup that overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran in 1952, and install the Shah regime that lasted until the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Kissinger had nothing to do with that, but he did have a lot to do with a similar ouster of Salvador Allende, democratically elected president of Chile; which brought us General Augusto Pinochet.

Anyway, if you are interested in more about Kissinger as war criminal, here is a Common Dreams article from 2002, a delightful wanted poster from Z Magazine, a book review of Christopher Hitchens' indictment of Kissinger at Salon, and ... ah, google it.
