Perhaps it is unfair of me to lump "Obama Girl" with Sam "Joe (Not a) Plumber (Nor a) War Correspondent" Wurzelbacher and She Who Can't Stop Talking. After all, Amber Lee Ettinger works hard at a job she is actually qualified for, shows some competence, and can elicit an intended laugh. Her phenomenon still makes me wince.
